Man, today was pretty bad because when I went to my game, i didn’t have my shoes so I had to wear anaother pair given to me by a kid named Adam. They were size 10 and I am a size 13. Pretty rough huh? But thats not all, I had a bone bruise on my left foot from hitting a ball off it. So It hurt even more, but hey, i’m not complainin’. We lost a terrible game today. It was the first game that I got the oppritunity to pitch so I am grateful and I did all right. Only let up 2 runs in 2 innings and struck a guy out. Allright for my debut. But hitting wise, I went 1 for 3 with a RBI. So as for the season, right now i am hitting 16 for 36. Thats an average of .444. I will take that any day! Our overall record is 9-3 so our winning percentage is .750. That is also very good. So hopefully I will do allright in tommaro’s double header.

Ohh yeah, I beat my grandmother at mini-golf by one stroke today,… just thought that was worth noting…

Todays game was all started after I got home from my last day of school. I have just recently got contacts so it is much easier for me to see. So I went to my game just like any other. I play for the Farmington JayCee Courant team and earlier today we were 5 and 0, so we had won all of our previous games. I was hitting 6 for 15, and hitting fourth in the line-up. We started off the game by warming up and stretching. It was a pretty decent warm up and I was sure that we were going to beat Simsbury. On the 10th of June we had beaten Simsbury 15-2 and even though that was the only game that I was not present, I was very confidant that we would come off with a win. Of course, before the start of the game, coach Sweighhoffer (excuse the spelling) told us how many of their players had been missing from the last game so we better get last game from our minds and look at this game. Baseball is a one game thing. The worst place team in the leaugue can beat the best team in the league; It all depends on the circumstances. So we started the game. Knowing that I was catching, and we were playing at home (in Farmington) I had already warmed up the pitcher and headed out to the playing field. I gave the pitcher 8 warm up throws and then the game started. We got three outs and headed back into the dugout. I knew I was hitting fourth so i took all of my gear off except for my legguards, which I will normally do. So I did get to hit that inning and the kid pithching for Simsbury, was a righty who was probably throwing with tops of 77 mph. I got in and fouled off about 4 pitches in a row and finally struck out on a curveball up and in. I walked back to the dugout and started to put my gear back on. No one scored a run for the next inning, but in the bottom of the third inning we had a couple of base hits that drove in a run. In the top of the fourth, Simsbury’s centerfielder was walked and made it to third off of a steal and a bunt, and made it home off of a base hit by their pitcher. That was the end of that inning. I hit again in the bottom of the fourth, with one out, I hit the first pitch that I got right back up the middle for a single. I didn’t end up getting anywhere but I got really dirty diving back to the base. The next inning was the fifth inning and we changed pitchers. The pitcher’s name was Colin. He is also a catcher, but in this instance he got us in and out with 1,2,3, outs. Coach Sweigh told us to put up a crooked number of runs on the scoreboard and we failed to do so. When we took the feild for the top of the sixth inning, the bases were loaded and we ended up getting out of it with no harm done. We were up again in the bottom of the sixth and once again we failed to contribute to the total runs that we needed to beat simsbury. In the top of the seventh when we took the field, we knew we had to stop them from getting any runs so we could get one run in the bottom of the seventh to win it.  So we started that inning pretty badly…with a walk. So right away there was a man on base for them. We got two outs, but the bad news is that the bases were loaded. But still, we hadn’t given up any runs that inning. All of a sudden, there was a pop up right behind me, and I tried to get to it, dove… and landed on my elbow in gravel. I was really mad that iI missed that ball because that would’ve been the end of the inning and I was hitting first in the bottom of the seventh, but it didn’t happen that way. They ended up getting five more runs that inning, and I was really angry at myself. I got up first in the bottom of the seventh and I fouled off about 6 pitches and finnaly got hit by a pitch in too my base. They got three outs when I was on third base and the game was over. I really couldn’t believe that that was our first loss. Coach gave us a lecture about us not playing to our full potential. I think that he was right and I am really going to get my head in the game for the double header on

I am brave and strong,

I wonder if Fiver is right about his uncertainty,

I fear elil (enemies) all around,

I desire for freedom,

I am brave and strong.

I pretend that I am the chief of our little band,

I feel compassion for Fiver,

I release my feelings at Ni-Firth (noon)

I worry that Cowslip’s warren is dangerous,

I cry when Pipkin is left all alone,

I am brave and strong.

I understand that I will not run forever,

I say make sure others are safe before yourself,

I dream that one day I will find the perfect warren,

I try to lead others to the best possible home,

I hope for total peace and unity betwixt rabbits,

I am brave and strong.

corey gahan at age 18An article by Justin Morhardt

Have you ever wondered if it is possible for someone to force someone to take steroids? Well, this 13-year-old found out in a hard way that he and his father only had a relationship around winning, and winning centered on steroids and HGH (Human Growth Hormone)

Corey Gahan started taking steroids in 2002 while he was but 13 years old. Before he started taking steroids he had a promising career in inline roller-skating. One day, after school, he came home and felt very sick. He went to the doctor’s office and found out that he had 20 times more testosterone than the average man. Three years later, he was banned from competing in the Olympics.

After a long trial, which included many people, Corey’s father was convicted for distributing steroids to a minor. He was sentenced to six years in prison.

All in all, Corey’s feelings on what happened were, “Steroids completely change your mindset, and they turn you from being an athlete, into a MONSTER.”

                    The Journey of Man! Lol.

Ok, before I start destroying the so called “theories” that scientists are putting up these days, I am going to tell you some background information on how scientist do things in this so called “new age”. First, they make something up that might’ve happened (theory). Next, they come up with something to go along with that even though the first statement or “theory” hasn’t even been proved yet or even accepted by anyone with even half a brain. Finally, they make a movie like this one and say that since the first “theory” was right, which in this case would’ve been that man has come from monkeys, that that must be true. Wrong. You cannot base an entire study on something that cannot be proved to have happened to even an inkling of a degree. Also, you cannot state that something is fact even though it has not even been close to proven. What happens nowadays is whenever scientists cannot explain what has happened or when their “theory” is partially proved wrong, what do they say??? All they do is just add years. “Oh, so you say the big bang happened huh? When did this occur?” Well, we aren’t really sure, but we believe that it must’ve happened billions and billions of years ago.” Now, if that isn’t the biggest load of anything I’ve ever heard! I mean seriously! But anyway, on to the movie.

Alright, first we start of with a man coming out of the trees and then “all of a sudden” or “over millions of years” which ever one seems more logical to you, starts a whole Klan of humanoids 50,000 years ago. Then we see 45,000 years ago that they go from Africa to Australia. Now if that even occurred don’t you think that we would’ve had some physical records of any of this traveling? And don’t even say that that little campfire was over 40,000 years old. Do they even understand how long that is? Also, why would there still be remains? There wouldn’t because it would’ve decomposed in less than a couple of months. So, then these “people” went into the Middle East. Now, this is another fact, the people that were traveling would’ve stopped when they got to the Middle East if they could’ve which 10,000 years later was possible according to your standards. There is no way that they would’ve traveled thousands of miles more for no reason. That is just common sense. Moving on. From there the next band of knuckle draggers moved out from the Middle East into India and China. Now, what you (Mr. Arnsten) were saying was, and I quote, “Just look at the populations of these two areas of the world. They are very large and must’ve had time to grow. That makes sense.” Actually, that doesn’t make the least of sense, because to even make the trek to India or China, they must’ve had to be a strong people, and there must’ve been a lot of “people” in the Middle East to chose from to make these treks. So the greatest area on the earth to be populated would be the Middle East. But is that true? No. Not even close.

I am not even going past the ending because I didn’t get a chance to see the end, but surly these “theories’ have no basis of truth whatsoever. I think that it is rather stupid. To even get humans from apes is illogical, and with no proof or even a little anything (which there is not) there is not even a chance that I will believe this socially accepted lie.

Lost time!

OK, for all of you viewers out there I am going to try to explain to you what i thought of this weeks episode of LOST (all capital letters).

Of course, when Rousseau (or however you spell it) died and what shot I was truly astonished. I personally thought that there was going to be an explanation on where she and her comrades(who are now dead) came from. Of course, she did explain to Sayid what happened to her and her acquaintances, but i thought that there would at least be one flashback of her. We, as LOST viewers, totally deserve that. Also, while we are talking about dying, Alex did not have to live too long without her only real parent and her boyfriend. Man, i just don’t think that they are going to stay dead for long. Anything can happen on LOST and we have already understood that. I thought that at least the “hunters” could have at least killed Rousseau first and then killed Carl, instead of the other way around to at least represent a little bit of “Love holds out in the end” or “you can’t split up love no matter how hard you try” or something of that nature. No, you just see him with a funny look on his face and then a bullet through his back. Kind of sad actually. Also, is it just me, or are Sun and Jin OK. Because we haven’t seen them even once since the Jin centric episode.

OK, for all of my friends who have asked me questions about the show, here you go;

What is the Smoke Monster?     Well, some people would like to say that it is an island security system, but that doesn’t explain why John Locke said, “When I looked at it, I saw something beautiful.” Also, it seems to me that the Smoke Monster is afraid of Locke. If you look at the episode in the third season which has the flame station with Michael(the french guy with the eye patch), you will see that the smoke monster creeps up on Mr. Eko in the river(who is my favorite character by the way) and then all of a sudden Locke shows up and it disappears. That is a sign to me. But in the last episode we saw that Ben disappeared underground and then the Smoke Monster appears. So, he must be summoning it somehow. Earlier, Ben told Locke that he didn’t know what the Smoke monster was. Maybe he doesn’t know what it is, but he Knows how to summon it. Also, what creeps me out about the smoke monster is when we see it for the first time in the first episode, Micheal hears it and says, “What is that.” and immediately following that Walt says, “Is that Vincent?” Now, why would Walt say, “Is that Vincent?” When it sounds like something that will eat you? Also, another question about the monster is that it has never been seen on the beach, so maybe if the Losties stay on the beach, they won’t be bothered by it. Maybe it has to stay in the tree line. OK, time to move on to the next question.

Is Desmond finally all right? Will he still be time traveling consciously?     My answer to that is no. I think that since Desmond found his “anchor” he will stay put.

Are Sawyer and Claire indestructable?     It may be so. Maybe the producers are just keeping thenm alive for the time being.

Who is Walt?     I think Walt might have a few extra chromosomes. No, accually I am just going to have to watch the show to figure that one out.

So, that is pretty much it, and I will tell you that I am so anxious for the next episode in two days. Sooooo happy. I hope you enjoy it too.
